Is it just me...
Ayy yo,
Let's face it family, 3 weeks ago serious snow storms plagued the northeast and mid-west of the country; while 2 weeks ago harsh cold weather and the threat of more snow were on tap for the same region. Just a week ago heavy wind and severe rain hammered us relentlessly, yet today we're in the mid-60's with an outlook for the weekend to be in the mid 70's.
Spooky.
Here are just a few other things that have been limping across my mind lately:
Is it just me...
....or do the songs on the radio nowadays sound more plagiarized/stolen than they sound like a true bona fide instant hit. Yeah I'm talking about you Monica with that straight-up poor-azz bootleg rip off of Denise Williams' song "Silly" from back in the day. You know you're more talented than to go out like that.
...or does Ellen DeGeneres always look like she still can't believe that she landed the dream job as a judge on American Idol when they pan to her on TV? Just once I'd like to hear her tell one of the female contestants on camera, "You're hot, sexy, and have a sweet looking azz..." If she did, your local FOX channel would probably go black faster than it did back when Janet showed the world her tata at the Superbowl.
...or does Randy Jackson not realize just how played-out he sounds yelling, "Dawg!" or "That's dope!" to the female contestants (or anybody for that matter) on AI? He sounds the way katz look when they come home from being inside for a long long time - just outta touch and awkward. Hey Randy: "Shuddafuggup!" That's an order. Next...
...or do we all still feel a little gun-shy about being ourselves on BAF now that we know Big Brotha Facebook is watching via OH? Or was it only MM, CL, DD, and a select few within da crew holding it down all by themselves back when everybody was being themselves?

...and can the dark bruhs PLEASE unass the 'I'm sexy chocolate'? It's official - we are now back to the 80's and 90's - light skinned bruhs are BACK in STYLE......THANK YOU BARACK!!!!
....a friend asked me to come up with one really good, justifitiable reason for men to wear draws - I'm still working on one....didn't realize how many mofos is draws-less!!!! Made it hard for a bytch in a mgmt meeting now.......

Exactly. Half of these so-called producers are just "cutting and pasting" elements of an old good song to a new beat, while the other half will remix the **** out of a catchy tune until you have to buy two or three CD's just in order to get the version that you actually like.

I hate so-called reality TV. I truly do. What TV producers have done here is taken the concept of the documentary (normally shown on PBS), added a cheesey script, a buffoon or two (Keisha Coles' crackhead mom; Fantasia's mentally challenged brother) and some commercial sponsors. Nothing new really. Why does 'reality' have to be scripted anyway? Sometimes life is just boring. Duh!
